Program Overview
What We Do
The Research and Policy (RaP) Fellowship program introduces graduate students and early career professionals to rural health issues and engages them in advocacy activities. During their fellowship, RaP participants receive education about rural health equity and develop an issue brief about a health equity topic of their choice. NYSARH typically sponsors two Fellows each year.
Program Leadership
The NYSARH Research and Policy Fellowship is overseen by our President and Executive Director, ensuring strong leadership and guidance. Fellows benefit from mentorship provided by board members and organizational leaders, fostering professional growth and impactful contributions to rural health policy.
