The New York State Association for Rural Health is now accepting both poster and abstract proposals for the 2026 Rural Health Symposium.

The Symposium is designed to deliver practical, actionable insights on current trends affecting and impacting rural communities. Submissions should align with the Symposium’s core themes, Rooted in Community, Driven by Collaboration, and clearly address rural health contexts. Proposals should highlight outcomes, lessons learned, and where applicable, the potential for replication or scalability in rural communities.

Poster presenters must be available on  Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Thousand Islands Harbor Hotel in Clayton. Presenters are expected to attend their poster during the assigned 30-minute session to discuss their work and respond to questions. The Poster Session offers students, practitioners, and organizations an opportunity to showcase research, innovative programs, and promising practices. Abstract presenters must be available on Thursday, September 17, or Friday, September 18, 2026.
