Ramona Sharp is the program manager for Lifespan’s Recovery and Wellness program for Older Adults, which serves adults 55+ with substance misuse difficulties. Ramona will be speaking on trauma and substance use in older adults. Examine the intersection of trauma and substance use disorders in older adults. Explore the contributing factors, identify common signs and symptoms, and review trauma-informed approaches to care that support improved outcomes in aging populations.
