Our Goals

Led by the New York State Association for Rural Health (NYSARH), the Older Adult Rural Support (OARS) program brings together partners across New York to expand access to mental and behavioral health care for older adults in rural communities.

Our Approach

OARS connects students, professionals, and caregivers with training, mentorship, and resources to expand the rural mental health workforce and promote well-being among older adults across New York State.
