QPR Suicide Prevention Training

QPR – Question, Persuade, Refer is a practical suicide prevention training that teaches participants how to recognize warning signs, start a conversation with someone they are concerned about, and connect that person with appropriate help and resources.

Cost: FREE

No previous mental health or suicide prevention experience is needed. This training is a great opportunity for parents, educators, coaches, employers, healthcare professionals, first responders, volunteers, community members, and anyone who wants to feel more prepared to support someone who may be struggling.

Training provided by Madison County Rural Health Council through the Older Adult Rural Support (OARS) Program.
